Editorial Policy
1. Independence
LaserProctology.com.pk is an independent patient information platform. We are not owned by, affiliated with, or funded by any hospital, clinic, pharmaceutical company or individual medical practitioner. Our editorial decisions are made independently.
2. No Paid Content or Sponsored Listings
We do not accept payment from doctors, hospitals or clinics in exchange for listings in our specialist or hospital directory. We do not publish sponsored articles or paid editorial content. Any external links are included solely because we believe they add value to the reader.
3. Evidence Standards
All medical information published on this site is written with reference to published peer-reviewed clinical literature, established international guidelines (including those from the European Society of Coloproctology), and widely accepted surgical practice. We do not publish anecdotal claims or unverified treatment assertions.
4. Content Review
Patient guides and condition articles are reviewed for clinical accuracy before publication. We aim to update content whenever significant new evidence or guidelines emerge. The “last updated” date is shown on all major content pages.
5. Specialist Listing Criteria
To be listed in our directory, a specialist must:
- Hold MBBS plus FCPS (Surgery) or FRCS from a recognised institution
- Have verifiable training or experience in at least one laser proctology procedure
- Practice at a registered hospital or licensed clinic
- Not have any known fitness-to-practice concerns at the time of listing
Listing is not an endorsement of clinical outcomes for any specific patient.
6. Corrections Policy
If you believe any content on this site contains a factual error or is clinically misleading, please contact us at info@laserproctology.com.pk. We will review the concern and, if warranted, correct or update the content promptly.
7. Language and Accessibility
We publish content in English and Roman Urdu to reach the broadest possible Pakistani patient audience. We aim for a reading level accessible to a general adult audience without specialist medical knowledge.
